It is a good job that I am well natured. First of all Mummie found me digging in the greenhouse this afternoon. It was a beautiful day and a bit of spring digging was just the job. I had no idea that it was an asparagus bed. It was filled with something which smelt extremely ripe. The temptation was too great and I just wanted to see what it was as obviously there was a chance that it was still edible. Mummie caught me at about a foot down. I could tell that Mummie was not very pleased as a clod of earth screamed past me at high speed. Even less pleased when I continued to dig in contravention to her instructions. Good job that I am voluptuous as I was dragged by the neck quite a distance and the greenhouse door was slammed in my face. I may have upset her further when I started in the herb garden, apparently the rosemary will never be the same again, if it survives. She told me to expect "a kick up the arse when your father sees this" but he has actually been quite good humoured about the whole episode and is calling me "ASBO" which is to my mind an improvement on Basil Brush.
This is me with a pheasant which I retrieved. Daddy says that I am a "bloody useless" gundog which is what I wanted him to think all along after all, why bother, you are not allowed to eat them.
